How’s Vennture’s new Lede line? I’ve tested most of the many new combinations and was pleased to discover these guys really know their stuff! There’s something for everybody here. My favorite combinations were the easy-blowing, solid, and powerful LV2 top with the C backbore; the bold and sparkly LV2S with the A backbore; the more refined, rich, and versatile LC2 with the A backbore; and the easy upper register and fluidity of the LC1 with the C backbore. Kudos for this great new Lede line, Vennture, you hit a home run! I only have one suggestion. Next time you name a new product, try using spellcheck.

-Matt Fronke

trumpet player, Céline Dion; recorded with Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and many others

Having tried almost everything on the market (yes I have a problem), when I got the Vennture LV2s I was ready to put it on the pile of “3 note mouthpieces” which means – by the 3rd note you regret buying it because it’s helping you suck!! I can do that without any help thank you very much!! Firstly, I found comfort and a sense of familiarity, and it sounded great off the bat. I was ready for day 2 blues… Nope. Ok week 2 blues? Month 2 blues? Nope!! Some things can click like this, and it really did. There are no compromise areas. It’s not a “look at me I can play dubbas, but my tone sucks, but I still use it – because high notes” mouthpiece, it sounds great!! Since it adopted me I have recorded with it fairly extensively and the playback doesn’t lie – from blend through to burn. It is my go-to lead piece, and it helps me not suck!!

-Michael Barkley

played with Van Morrison, founded Barkley Microphones

Just received the LC2S. With the A backbore it is extremely responsive.
Huge full sound, lots of sparkle and core. Lots of zing. Loving this combo.
-Danny Falcone
Lead player, Céline Dion
LV2A: Good response and flexibility. Nice even, focused, broad sound. Good sizzle/brilliance, good intonation & articulation especially up top. SFZ’s are responsive and an even blow throughout.
-Bobby Medina
Played with Ray Charles, Frankie Valli, Mel Tormé, The Four Tops, The Temptations, and others
